Original painting, gouache on watercolour paper, size 9"x11.5" with frame
‘Overthink’, a painting inspired by matchbox art, is a macabre, metaphorical display of one’s tendency to overthink, overplan and stress ourselves into knots over things that might otherwise be handled better if one just took a deep breath and relaxed for a change. Counterproductively , the painting may inspire us to do the opposite, and remember the damage that we’re doing to our precious mental and physical health.
